Section For Bicycle Related 3D Printed Components

We still have not gotten a section for 3D printed bicycle related components. Many of us have personal 3D printers and most of us come from an engineering and design background. Go Figure...

Sure would like to see a dedicated section in the BikeForums for 3D printed stuff.

I just noted the thread "3d Printed Accessories / Mounts" with a count of 749 replies. Clearly 3D Printing is becoming more common place. There are of course many web sites that offer archives for designs and plans. But digging through these sites for bicycle specific related information can be tedious. Here on the forum we could post links to components and information that works and is proven or unproven.

We do have sections in the forum that have as little as 66 threads. I am sure a 3D printed section would bring in a plethora of useful information and many more threads. It would also pave the way for new ideas.

Especially when we get the price down on those personal, aluminum cutting, CNC machines.... Ohhh... Yeah!!!
