Yep. Had a secondhand double crank, but it’s flat around here, so no need to shift the front ring during casual riding. Offroad I manually move the chain to the smaller ring; onroad it stays on the bigger ring.
and how many whiskers' clearance is there under that fork crown with those tires?
Just a few! Maybe four.
