I have two dental implants. I have had two teeth go bad due to dental resorption. The first went pretty smoothly. The second, not so good. The antibiotics I took when they pulled what was left of the tooth totally messed up my digestion. Let's just say food did not stay in me very long. I begged the oral surgeon to allow me not to take them again when the implant was put in. He agreed with great reservation. He was right. I got a raging infection which set back the implant about six months. I have never been in so much pain. I was taking two Vicodin and they helped numb the pain for about 30 minutes. All is good now, but it was quite an adventure.
