looks like a popular thread TLDR everyone's response. may I suggest you might like 1/2 clips, aka mini clips? they provide a little foot retention but are easy in / easy out. basically they are like old-school toe clips, w/o the straps, but they are a little smaller, meaning the top piece doesn't come as far over the top of the foot, like where the strap would normally pass through
