For your replacement, I recommend expander-style plugs. Some bar tape comes with this style end, or you can get fancy aluminum ones like these -

Ill do this when I order new tape. Bummed that I ruined the tape so early in its life. I don’t think I can buy the same replacement cervelo tape. Somebody else asked me where I got it.
