In Geeky news, we got a new ICP mass spectrometer yesterday! I'm so excited, and so is my group; we're tired of troubleshooting and toiling over our old Thermo (X series). After some involved market research we decided to go with Agilent this time. Engineer on site to setup/familiarize next week, applications scientist later in the month to help us explore analytical challenges and dive into the single-particle mode, which will be huuuuuge for the company at large/.
