the Normandy Luxe Competition model hubs of 1974/1975 have red foil labels and red plastic dustcaps

the final year for the generation on the subject bicycle was 1972

the Juy skewers on the bicycle were last current in 1971. production of the model ceased at that time but a few 1972 model year bicycles did come through wearing them - using up existing stock.

dropouts appear to be Freres Huret
the thread for their adjustment screws is 3.0mm X .6 rather than the more commonly encounterred 3.0mm X .5

cycle appears to have commenced life as as GJ
