Agreed that the tiny holes in the mid section of a head tube shouldn't be a stress riser to any amount. "Drive Screws" are what many use to attach various name plates and such in industry.

Many small scale builders do braze on their badges. I use 56% silver for the stainless steel, water jetted, ones I have. However quality double sided tape will do a good job if the badge has a smooth backside and won't risk discoloring any enameling or paint. Andy
