Hello, I'm Katherine. I have some neuro troubles that led to drop foot in my left foot, and weakness in my whole body but especially the left side. I can't stand up for long. I walk with a cane but the neurologist wants me to upgrade to arm crutches and get AFOs for both feet..
I am also a long time bicyclist and motorcyclist. Before this happened to me I lived my life on two wheels. When all this started I added a third wheel, I have now had three different sidecar motorcycles, but my weakening clutch hand means I am selling the last one. I'm also a habitual tinkerer.
I'm here because I want to talk about electric trikes. I have a Liberty Trike which is pretty darned good, but with the last motorcycle going away I have to channel my tinkering urge somewhere else. So I'm looking at creating something of my own, something I like even better. I hope you'll all bear with me as I reinvent the wheel. :-)
