That data, as far as I know, is not currently displayed on the 1030 Plus. But the raw data to compute it, I suspect, is probably already available or could be calculated with a firmware upgrade. Like all computer-like devices, the Garmin device is only as capable as the firmware that runs it and the data that the firmware has access to. NoWhammies concern that the 1040 will have features the 1030+ doesn't that he'll regret missing out on.
Garmin isn't a non profit. They want to sell the new thing they made.
