Yes, that is correct. I'm trying to avoid swapping cases all the time. Specifically, since it's an iPhone 12, it doesn't charge as easily wirelessly with aftermarket chargers as earlier iPhones. I gave up since my post and am just plugging in. I like just leaving the case on all the time over swapping.
