I've easily got over 40,000 miles on my 2003 LeMond. But it reminds me of the joke about the old woodsman who brags about having owned the same axe for twenty years: "Yep," he said, "and I've only replaced the head twice and the handle three times."

My old LeMond is a bit better than that: the frame, fork, and a couple other bits are original at this point, while the wheels, drivetrain components, saddle, etc, have all been replaced 1x, 2x, or more.
