I come to a complete stop at all stop signs and lights. When a vehicle with the right of way inappropriately stops to let me 'go' at an intersection, I wave them on and wait them out. God only knows how many times I would have been hit when a vehicle blew by the stopped vehicle on the left, or coming the opposite direction.
