I don’t have a Giro helmet, but my POC helmet allows about 5 “rotate fore and aft” position adjustments. I had the same problem with the helmet hitting my glasses, but after adjusting said adjuster, the problem is gone. Maybe your helmet has the same adjustability?
On Edit: Giro’s website specifically details the fore and aft adjustability on the Aether helmet.
