Thank you. The flooded area is slow to recede due to all of the rain we've been getting. It looks like it's going to be at least another couple of weeks before it's rideable. The guy who crossed it told me that it's even deeper a little further up the trail. I like my feet dry when I'm riding. There will be no crossing for me!
yeah me too. only exception are my summer time beach, bike & hikes, in good sandals. so long as the hubs & BB stay dry. last fall I rode thru a lot of water & when I mounted the studs I had to dry out the inside of the rims, tires & tubes
I've been in situations where I'm faced with that decision, on the bike, on foot or in my jeep. & one has to figure out if this little crossing is the end of it, or if it's an indication or more to come. it's usually the latter
