Edge still works fine for me, even though it's a product from the dreaded Microsoft. So It's not like I don't have a workable alternative. Thx for the suggestions.
One more debugging trick that I often do for these types of issues:
Create a new user account on your computer. Open Chrome and log into BikeForums. Modifications are user-specific, so a new user account will allow you to test whether unmodified Chrome works properly. If it does, then you know it is a user-specific setting or modification that is causing the problems. Then you can delete your new user account on the computer (or keep it for future debugging).
