It makes a ton of sense to have your saddle position be in the same spot for all the bikes you train on.
i disagree - for myself - mostly because i ride different bikes (which have different purposes) differently - the kind of terrain i ride it on, how the bike handles, and how my balance and weight distribution is to suit that, my body position (hoods vs drops!)... setting up my road bike like my track bike never felt right to me.
