Generally so. As long as what they are doing is not dangerous, I am pretty much hands off. For example, my mom is totally into Reiki which is some type of "energy" healing, and also reads up on Deepak Chopra. She talks about it a little to me. It's totally unscientific but it's probably harmless. Live and let live.
My mom said she has arthritis that was acting up last night because a weather front is coming.
