I threw on another old rear wheel (the stock DT Swiss boat anchor that came on the Roubaix) but I realized why I had it off the bike and on the shelf: for some reason, under heavy load only, the wheel goes side-to-side slightly but enough to rub the rear brake. This is really a drag. The wheel itself spins nice and true. I can’t quite figure out why it does this other than maybe I need to tighten the axle somehow? The QR is plenty tight in the dropout.

Advice?
Can you feel the axle being loose? Maybe an overhaul. But again, I don't know what that means with modern wheels. Do they still use cup and cone axles?
