He wasn't discussing giving advice to a customer. He did write that he is offended by
anybody who doesn't share his view of how to
properly use or equip an expensive carbon road bicycle, and was doing it wrong, and provided the only
proper reason to buy and use a 3K carbon road bike. After all he was a bicycle mechanic. Period.
