Yesterday. Windy but better than other days of late. Cold Spring Harbor round trip from home. Today, finally, windless and cool......rode up to Laurel Hollow and Oyster Bay. The waters were calm and glassy. Five minutes after turning south for the return, a stiff headwind sprang up.
