Love that color! I'd look for a used LX or DX rear deraileur so at least it will look more period correct with the nicer old school stainless steel deraileur. There's plenty of them out there. Just a thought.
Yeah, that’s a great idea.
I love the color too. I think the original color had a darker, almost purple accent, but has faded to pink. The fork was originally green, but there is a pink fork at my local bike co-op that I may switch to.
