Just looking at a few grades on the dirt road by the mountain cabin, the 36/33 might be a bit rough. But a 30t inner ring would get me to easier than 1:1. At low cost. With no interest bombing anything fast needing the higher speed gearing.

Worth a shot?
Might bounce off if you're on rough surfaces going fast (like coasting back down).
