From the first photo, he appears to have been riding a Cross Check built from the frame up, including a brifter drivetrain. Likely more than $1,100, unless it's rather old. I paid $1,100 for my stock Surly LHT with bar ends back in 2011. Then again, the frame is the same color, and knowing how Surly offers colors, it could be old like mine.
