My route is somewhat undulating…but a good amount of flat. Left side of my route(see pic) between the 7mile symbol and intersection is a long incline. What slows me down is all the turns….and the fact that my route is 5 miles long so I have to do a U-turn to start my second lap.
Funny to think, that only a few months ago….I didn’t even know how to shift gears on a road bike. Now I’m up and down the gears like it’s nothing.
Finally started get out of the saddle more. I was mistakenly trying to ride out of the saddle in too easy of a gear. 🤦♂️. Now I’m powering up the incline on my route without a problem.
