The only sure fire theft prevention is to never let the bike out of your sight. Since having a bike stolen out of the back of my garage while my wife was tending her flowers, I cable up both my bike and trike even in the garage.
I lock my bikes in our garage.
The downside is the close proximity to power tools so the thief doesn’t even have to use his battery powered angle grinder.
