@cleave, better than my weekend- I planned on the Piru 20k for Sunday and was gonna race whether it rained or not. Then had a crazy weekend and getting ready for the race, getting up early on race day felt like “one more thing”. Decided to skip it, then of course the rain was delayed and they raced in mist and I kind-of regretted skipping it.

But only kind of. I find my attitude towards racing is changing. Its still really important to me personally and I still want to do well. But I am not sure that making it the central recreational thing in my life makes sense any more. I’m find I’m making room for other interests, which is a good thing.
