Photo taken today. Here is the $10 Huffy from Craigslist that I had to put a $7 front tube in, and just lube the rest of the bike up. I swapped used for used pedals to get rid of a creaking sound while pedaling. Some light rust on the rims and a little on the frame. No real complaints except for having to hold the rear shifter in gear with my right hand so it doesn't change on it's own.
I need to put some Loctite on the front brake acorn nut. When it gets loose, the caliper arms shimmy (shimmer?) badly and the brake makes more noise than usual. I took it out for about six miles tonight of dumpster diving and looking for bikes on a neighboring communities trash night.
It becomes a utility bike when I throw on one of my Timbuk2 bags on me.
I'm still really happy with it.

Nice!! love the old school hardtail frames - you can do so much with them. Many years of utility/cargo riding on that frame still ahead, right on!!
