Consecutive bicycle work commute number 1320:
December already. Where did this year go?
Although the calendar says December, the thermometer still thinks it's October. Unseasonably warm this week. This morning was 35 F with a mild headwind. It had rained during the night so the roads were wet, but there was no rain falling as I rode to the office.
For the ride home tonight it's supposed to be in the mid to upper 50s. I brought a sweatshirt and shorts to swap out for the jacket and long pants I wore on the way in.
Looking at my spreadsheet, it appears I'm going to break the 3k commuting mile barrier on Friday. I usually commute somewhere between 3k-4k miles every year, so with a month to go I'm right on track.
