not great news, but better to find the problem and fix it at a time of your choosing rather than have a few spokes pop when out riding.

It's a shame that it didn't happen when you had more time to spare, though. Would have been a great excuse to learn to true the wheel yourself!

Have fun on RAGBRAI, and watch out for the folks who don't know what they are doing (and that's about 80% of the participants, IMHO)
