Tonight I stripped down the 22" Circuit. Mixed feelings about that - it's the first C&V bike I bought as a C&V bike, instead of just owning it for > 25 years.
Here are the 3 frames, with the 2 forks. The 2 1989s are in the front, the 22" and the 23". You can see the difference in the paint color compared to the 1988. It's not that the 1988's faded, they were different colors. The decals are different, too. And when built up, the 1988 had white hoods, white saddle, white cable housing, white bar tape. The 1989 had gray hoods, black saddle and tape, and gray cable housing. Personally, I like the look of the 1989 better.
