While I do agree with virtually all of what
cyclezen said. I've had the feeling that this it just for a bike you aren't going to use often. So still, maybe just try tires and see what you think. For riding at less than a adrenaline crazed level, it might do just fine if you aren't going to be using it very regularly throughout the year.
