49-46 / 14-16-18-20-22 gearing, as well, and original mudguards, to boot. I presume the horizontal "531" denotes plain gauge tubing, as opposed to a mixed tubeset frame, but the seat post diameter can sort that out for us.
John, how should that seatpost indication work in this case? Don’t we need to know the gauge that was actually used for the seat tube? At least for my 1952 Rudge clone of the Super Lenton (with Sturmey-Archer AW) the seat tube diameter is 25.2 mm and I installed a Kalloy aluminum post that is 25.3 mm. The tube OD is 28.6 mm. These two frames look so similar that I’d assume the seat tubes are also the same.
