I originally started riding the trainer to keep my butt in condition during the off season, so when spring came along, my first 20+ mile ride wasn't painful.
I don't mind the trainer too much. I get to binge watch a bunch of old shows. The real problem is that I ride a lot slower on a trainer because I am trying to read the computer or ipad, so I spend so much more time in the saddle getting the miles.
