Hello!

My first road bike was a 1980 Super Course 12 so of course I was immediately attracted to Raleighs of the era. The owner of the LBS I started going to had a couple of copper Internationals and that essentially became the dream C&V bike for me for quite some time... I bought and sold one frameset years ago due to a lack of funds to build it up, and finally purchased another frameset at Eroica CA this year. Alas, since then I also purchased my first modern bicycle in a while and that set me back rather seriously, so I purposely built up this frame as a fixed gear using mostly parts that I had on hand (some already reserved specifically for the International) and have put it up for sale in the classified section. It's a 1972 with all the wonky quality control issues like poor filing and brazing and sloppy lug lining, but it has the charm! I keep staring at it while it's still sitting here in the study before I take it to storage until it's sold...

Someday I'll have an International to keep!

-Gregory
