Except for the first night a second morning, the current long range forecast is looking great for my trip. About a 40% chance of showers late Saturday afternoon and again Sunday morning. About 2 miles of streets and 60 miles of trail Saturday. I’ll get an early start from the hotel. At least there are four Adirondack shelters at camp Saturday. Hope one is available. And there is a hotel just down the trail that sells showers for $10, complete with wash cloth, towel, soap and shampoo. Sunday is about 48 miles with no worry about the campground being full.
