I spent a bit of time installing new smoke detectors. Our old ones are all the 9v battery type, so these new ones with 10 year internal batteries should be an improvement. Apart from that, I walked the dog, washed the car, spent a fruitless half hour taking Mrs. GJ to Urgent Care about her ankle, which doesn't seem to be better.
Now I'm just waiting for the outside temp to drop to 90, because that's about where the house is now.
