Given how pristine it is, it might not be a bad idea to consider keeping the dropout hanger intact and mounting a Simplex SX610 GT rear derailer on it. Should perform as well as the Suntour; perhaps a bit better due to the softer return spring. Definitely a consideration.

Or, if you've got $$ to burn (or are lucky), an SLJ GT. I've got a Cyclone GT on one bike and an SLJ 5500 GT on another and I actually think the SLJ shifts a little better.
