A few years ago, one of the guys in my club came across a vintage steel Japanese bike that was locked up off the beaten path. He checked in on it for the better part of the year and then, with winter looming, he decided to liberate it and leave a note. It never did get claimed, so he cleaned it up and uses it for casual rides. It is very dapper with original root beer-ish paint and the new saddle and hammered fenders. jealous envious every time he rolls it out.
