In all seriousness ness…This die hard roadie dipped his toe into the loaded touring world in ‘99-‘00, ended up doing about 10,000 miles then went back to road riding. Picked up loaded touring again in ‘09 and mixed it with day road rides. My pendulum has swung back to loaded touring big time. I think I’m bored with road riding even though I have a library of great routes. I also like the non-riding stuff that goes along with touring, like cooking a nice dinner and reading by the campfire. I think to myself, “I’ve done all this using my bike.”
