One good thing about being this age is that the body is much less forgiving.

Eating bad, staying up all night, working too hard, not exercising, alcohol and tobacco, getting eaten alive with unrelieved stress over personal issues or situations for weeks or months at a time, are all bad for a person's health, but I have found their bad effects on my health to be much more noticeable as I've gotten older.

I realize that any one of those things could fairly easily kill me at this age, if it gets too out of hand. So I'm forced to avoid them. Which is something I probably should have been doing all along.
