For me it was the peroneus brevis tendons (both feet). I have always supinated, walking, running, standing, and even on the bike. Meaning I bear my weight on the outside edges of my feet, and this is exactly where the injured tendons run, which was preventing them from healing. We found running shoes that put weight on my arches and heels, and have lots of cushioning, and this was more effective than the morphine they gave me at the hospital in terms of pain. I can walk long distances and ride again. Still have some aches and soreness, and I only wear two kinds of shoes ever.
