I started playing around on Google Maps. Not sure if
this is going to be safe, due to increased vehicular traffic trying to bypass the official detour, but...there's not a lot of options. Like all Ohio road projects, the scheduled time to completion is totally up in the air.
Miami Valley Trails indicates 40-50 days and can only advise until "mid or late July". Hope they finish early (or at least before my August tour)!
