Greeting from Iowa
Hello from Union County, Iowa. I'm a part time pastor and part time school bus driver and I enjoy riding wherever and whenever I can. We're not car free yet, but we've managed to get rid of one car and that's a start I feel good about. I've been riding bikes all my life, but got serious about riding in the late 80's when I bought a '87 Cannondale SR400 while I was stationed in Germany. Enjoyed riding around Frankfurt for several years and then sold the bike when I moved back to the states. (have regretted it ever since). Got away from bike for awhile and then ran across a 10 year old Cannondale T400 that was still in the shipping box and that's what I'm currently riding. I'm also fond of the vintage Schwinns and just completed a rebuild of a 1987 Traveler and have a 1974 Le Tour waiting its turn. Have never ridden RAGBRAI, but am registered for this summer's ride.
