You'll probably have to adjust the dropout screws to pull it back farther in the dropouts and tighten the B screw, but it works
rccardr gives some good advice, as always. If a person is going to index with more range, best to use another RD. In this case, the DA GS/ triple will be for climbing rides in friction mode with 7/8 speed clusters.
