My recent bike (used) had 6800 10sp and I could not buy parts without going to eBay.
My current bike (used) has 8000 and will be going the same way for parts availability.
I’ve been waiting for a new groupset release, so as to maximize the supported life of a
new bike.
I haven’t had a new road bike in
40years, I can’t afford to buy one very often!
Last one is a Holdsworth Special, and I still have it.
