For 2019, Wally from Wally’s Bikes in SLO was providing support for the ride with his 66 Mustang with hand painted SERVIZIO CORSA on the side.
At Santa Rita Summit there were porta-potties, water, some food, and a paramedic ambulance. At Halter Ranch besides loads of food and volunteers, there was neutral mechanical support. At Cypress Mountain Summit, there was porta-potties, Linn’s preserves for carbs, water, plus local sheriff with 2 cars and 2 ATV’s with deputies, plus saw the Mercedes Sprinter van sag wagon with 2 riders and their bikes inside, plus available room for two more if needed. Each stop had Radio and Ham radio communications that I saw.
in the 2018 ride, there was also a Bike Touring company that had a big pickup with an enclosed bike trailer doing sag work on the short inland route.
Not to mention stops in 2019 in Templeton, Olea Farms and Cass Winery on the long route.
just because you may have missed it doesn’t mean it wasn’t there.
