To be fair the amount of people telling him to mount it to the top tube (where something as heavy as a golf club could easily come loose and get caught up in a wheel) shows that even stupid questions can have dumber answers.
And yet somehow countless smart people are able to secure much heavier things to their top tubes while touring and bikepacking. And like riding one-handed is safer.
