A lot of the farm roads in Southern Minnesota are gravel roads. If you do not identify a route from other sources, perhaps look at the county road maps from the DOT and put together your own route? You would probably have a mix of gravel and paved. Such roads often are poorly marked, you would likely need a route loaded into a GPS to avoid going off route.

I misplaced my Minnesota state cycling map so I can't look at it, does that provide any help?
