iab can certainly correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the appeal of the Vittoria his is that they fit a number of levers from the period when the originals were produced. They were also the original "reproduction" hoods.
Interestingly enough, the Vittoria hoods we're familiar with don't seem to match those on the only
Vittoria levers listed on Velobase.
